It is made of a off white silk crepe fabric, with a red and blue floral rose print pattern and red velvet ribbon bow trim neckline, shoulder straps.

This vintage red roses silk crepe bias cut belted dress and open crown hat dates from the 1930s. It is made of a off white silk crepe fabric, with a red and blue floral rose print pattern and red velvet ribbon bow trim neckline, shoulder straps. This beautiful bias cut dress long floor length gown has double shoulder straps, backless, with a matching fabric belt and side snap closures. The dress measures 57 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 26 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 28 inch long belt. Included is a matching fabric diadem open crown hat with a rolled bumper brim and "Blanche Richmond Salon des Chapeaux 711 Church St. Evanston" label sewn inside. The hat measures 21 inches in circumference. It is in good condition, with only a few faint small stains on the skirt. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
