It is made of a ecru tan camel color fine soft wool fabric, with matching color lace inserts and silk braided knotted tassel button trim accents.

This antique Edwardian era ecru camel color wool lace tassel trim traveling coat dates from 1905. It is made of a ecru tan camel color fine soft wool fabric, with matching color lace inserts and silk braided knotted tassel button trim accents. This wonderful winter traveling coat has a loose fitting, floor length style, with gathered shoulders, long full mutton style sleeves, wide rolled cuffs, a fitted back and button loop front closure. It is lined in flannel for warmth, but missing the silk top lining which would have gone over it. The coat measures 43 inches long, with 48 inch hips, a 44 inch waist, 40 inch bust, 16 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned and has a few tiny moth holes and faint age spot stains. This is truly an exceptional piece of wearable antique textile art!
