This exquisite antique Edwardian Titanic era white net embroidered soutache crochet filet lace dress dates from 1912. It is made of a white sheer net fabric, with raised white soutache stitched, padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a decorative spiral floral leaf scrolling design pattern. There are crochet filet lace and drawn cut work detail accents. This lovely lace dress is a long tea length, with a layered squared neckline, flared dolman style short sleeves, a fitted waistband and is fully lined in a white cotton sheer net fabric with hook closures on the back. The dress is a large wearable size, measuring 52 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 30 inch waist, 38 inch bust and 15 inch back. It is in excellent condition. This is truly an exceptional unique piece of antique wearable textile art!
