It is made of a violet purple color sheer silk chiffon fabric, with matching color floral applique cut work stitched designs on the top.

This vintage antique Art Deco violet purple silk chiffon floral applique flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a violet purple color sheer silk chiffon fabric, with matching color floral applique cut work stitched designs on the top. This fabulous flapper dress is loose fitting, with a drop waist, layered tiered side drape skirt, with rhinestone trim, long sleeves and is fully lined with a matching purple silk slip lining which could be worn separately as it is not attached. The dress measures 44 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 38 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in good as-is condition, with discoloration staining under the arms and some small faint age spots (see close-ups). This is a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art and would be great for study, pattern or design!
