This exquisite antique Edwardian era white linen eyelet embroidered Irish crochet lace dress blouse and skirt outfit dates from 1915. It is made of a fine white linen fabric, with raised padded satin stitch embroidery work, eyelet drawn cut work and Irish crochet lace trim done in a floral leaf design pattern. This stunning summer two piece walking suit includes a blouse top, with an open front short cropped top sleeveless vest style overlay, long tapered sleeves with rolled cuffs and a V front neckline with snaps, hooks closures. The top measures 15 inches long, with a 26 inch waist, 34 inch bust, 13 inch back and 21 inch long sleeves. There is a matching embroidered lace trim linen fabric long floor length full skirt, with a wide crochet lace waistband trim and snap, hook closures on the back. The skirt measures 35 inches long, with 40 inch hips and a 24 inch waist. It is in good condition, with only a few faint small age spot stains on the back skirt waist. This is truly an extraordinary piece of wearable antique lace textile art!
