This vintage Mr. Blackwell Custom Missoni style striped zigzag kaleidoscope lamé suit jacket and skirt dates from the 1960s. It is made of an acetate metallic lamé weave fabric with a kaleidoscope of colors done in a geometric striped zigzag pattern design, resembling the Missoni style fabrics. This beautiful designer two piece suit has a long loose fitting boxy swing style suit jacket, with a mandarin collar, slight shoulder padding, gathered shoulders, long full balloon bishop style sleeves with fitted cuffs, a black silk toggle at the neck and snap closure on the front. There is a "Mr. Blackwell Custom" designer label Size Small tag sewn inside. The jacket measures 26 inches long, with 50 inch hips, a 50 inch waist, 44 inch bust, 14 inch back and 25 inch long sleeves. There is a matching fabric skirt, with side slit, an elastic waistband and is fully lined. The skirt measures 26 inches long, with 36 inch hips and a 26 to 30 inch waist. It is in good condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of quality made unique designer wearable art!
