It is made of an ecru cream color raw silk fabric, with a golden silk raised padded satin stitch embroidery work, of a floral vine leaf design on the front top, sleeve cuffs and a white net lace collar, neckline.

This antique late Edwardian era embroidered raw silk lace mother of pearl inlaid buckle dress dates from 1918. It is made of an ecru cream color raw silk fabric, with a golden silk raised padded satin stitch embroidery work, of a floral vine leaf design on the front top, sleeve cuffs and a white net lace collar, neckline. This sweet summer dress has a loose fitting drop waist style, with a mock middy top overlay, long full sleeves, a belted mother of pearl inlaid buckle front closure, long floor length layered skirt with crochet button trim along the bottom and snap closures on the front. The dress measures 52 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 32 inch waist, 38 inch bust and 19 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a few small faint age spot stains on the top. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable antique textile art!
