This antique Victorian era cream wool applique lace bustle bridal wedding gown dress dates from the 1880s. It is made of an off white cream color soft fine wool fabric, with a cream chiffon ruffle trim edging, silk front insert panel, with white silk embroidered floral cutwork lace applique trim overlay and collar. This beautiful bridal wedding gown 2 piece dress has a fitted bodice, with long tapered sleeves, high collar neck, hook closures front and is fully lined with stays boning sewn inside. The bodice measures 15 inches long, with a 22 inch waist, 32 inch bust, 10 inch back and 22 inch long sleeves. There is a matching long floor length layered full skirt, with pleated hemline, a slight back train, a white cotton horse hair stuffed bustle pad sewn inside for added fullness and hook closures on the back waistband. The skirt measures 39 inches long, with a 22 inch waist. It is in good condition, with a few tiny moth nip holes on the top, fraying on the silk top insert lining and the silk lining inside the skirt is shattered (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique bridal wedding Victoriana wearable art!
