This Victorian era vintage Columbia Bathing Suit Co gymnasium bicycle bloomers and fleur de lis middy top dates from 1900. It is made of a black fine wool fabric, with a white french knot embroidered fleur de lis trim front top. This wonderful women's gymnasium gym suit, bicycle outfit has a middy top blouse, with sailor style collar, tie front neckline, modesty insert panel with fleur de lis logo, long full sleeves, elastic cuffs, button down front and waistband. The top measures 19 inches long, with a 25 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 23 inch long sleeves. There are matching baggy bloomer bike riding pants, with gathered elastic leg cuffs and a pleated button closure waistband. The pants measure 34 inches long, with a 19 inch inseam, 48 inch hips and a 25 inch waist. There is a "Columbia Bathing Suit Co. 145 South St., Boston" label sewn inside the top. It is in good condition, with several small frayed holes on the pants and the elastic gathering on one leg cuff is loose. This antique gymnasium workout bicycling outfit is truly a rare and wonderful find!
