This vintage Art Deco blue silk burnout voided velvet drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a unique textured sheer navy blue color silk chiffon and burnout voided cut velvet fabric, with an Art Deco abstract swirling polka dot design pattern. This fabulous flapper style loose fitting drop waist dress has long full sleeves, with fitted cuffs, a velvet varying shades of blue floral cut strips trim on the shoulder, blue silk panels hanging down the back and on the bottom skirt with smocking gathers along the hips. It is sheer and unlined. The dress measures 44 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 36 inch waist, 38 inch bust and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a tiny pin hole on the front top. This is a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable textile art!
