This antique robe de style cream silk rhinestone beaded lace pannier hoop wedding dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white ivory cream color silk fabric, with crystal silver, white, rhinestone beading done in a floral rose leaf pattern design on the top. There are cream color sheer lace panels on the skirt. This beautiful bridal wedding dress has a robe de style which was a romantic alternative to the chemise dress popular in the 1920s. It has a drop waist style which comes to a point, short cap sleeves, a pannier hoop sewn inside along the sides creating a low and wide flared hips style and layered lace ruffle skirt. There are side snap closures and it is fully lined in an iridescent cream color silk fabric lining, with "Warrens Featherbone" brand name ink stamped hoops sewn inside. The dress measures 41 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in good condition. This is truly a rare and unique piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
