It is made of a dark blue silk fabric background, with a colorful orange, green and white novelty print of the Alaskan Arctic with the Northern Lights, Eskimo's, igloos, sled dogs, seals, polar bears and icebergs design.

This vintage amazing Alaskan Arctic Eskimo igloo novelty print silk drop waist dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a dark blue silk fabric background, with a colorful orange, green and white novelty print of the Alaskan Arctic with the Northern Lights, Eskimo's, igloos, sled dogs, seals, polar bears and icebergs design. This fabulous flapper dress has a loose fitting drop waist asymmetrical style, with a white silk scalloped lace edge front neckline collar and cuffs, shoulder button trim, long sleeves, a tiered layered ruffled skirt and is unlined. The dress measures 40 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 21 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only some slight faint underarm discoloration and a tiny fray under one arm. This is truly a rare and unique piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
