This amazing antique Art Deco red velvet silver lamé reversible flapper opera cloak cape dates from the 1920s. It is made of red silk velvet fabric, with a silver metallic lamé fabric lining. This fabulous flapper opera cloak cape is reversible, loose fitting with a cocoon wrap style, quilted rolled shawl collar and mid section flounce drape and an open front with no closure. The cape measures 44 inches long, with a 63 inch mid circumference. It is in good condition, with only some tarnish discoloration spots on the silver lamé fabric (see close-up). This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable art!
