It is made of a dark plum purple aubergine eggplant color silk velvet fabric, with sheer silk chiffon pleating on the front waist and sleeves. There are a pair of matching colorful gold metallic Art Deco embroidered applique trim hidden underneath the pleated sheer silk front panel and velvet button trim accents. This fabulous flapper dress is loose fitting, with a drop waist, long sleeves, fitted cuffs, a belted sash waist and fold over collar V neckline. The dress measures 40 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 36 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 14 inch back and 25 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a few small frayed holes in the silk chiffon sleeves. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
