It is made of a fine quality off white ecru color raw silk fabric, with raised soutache work, silk rope trim lacing, knotted crochet button trim and a lace yoke collar insert.

This antique Titanic Edwardian era ecru raw silk soutache lacing corset dress dates from 1912. It is made of a fine quality off white ecru color raw silk fabric, with raised soutache work, silk rope trim lacing, knotted crochet button trim and a lace yoke collar insert. This lovely lace long floor length dress has a layered pinafore apron style, with side hook lacing closures, short sleeves with corset lacing details, fringed trim bottom, velvet belted front waist and hook closures on the inside back. The dress measures 52 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 24 inch waist, 32 inch bust and 12 inch back. It is in good condition, with only some faint underarm stains and fraying along net lace shoulders. This is truly a unique and wonderful piece of wearable antique textile art!
