This fabulous flapper evening opera cloak cape is a long mid length, loose fitting, has an open front with no closure, a fold over lapel collar and is fully lined in a cream silk fabric. The cape measures 45 inches long, 20 inches across the shoulders and is 75 inches in circumference.

This amazing antique Art Deco cream silk pleated black embroidered evening flapper cloak cape dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white cream color silk satin fabric, with Fortuny style finely done pleating and black chain stitch embroidery work done in decorative abstract Art Deco spiral scrolling designs. This fabulous flapper evening opera cloak cape is a long mid length, loose fitting, has an open front with no closure, a fold over lapel collar and is fully lined in a cream silk fabric. The cape measures 45 inches long, 20 inches across the shoulders and is 75 inches in circumference. It is in good condition, with only some fraying of the inside silk lining on the back neck and a tiny snag pull on the back (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
