This vintage colorful crewelwork embroidery paisley pashmina wool wrap shawl scarf dates from the 1950s. It is made of an off white ivory cream color soft fine cashmere wool fabric with colorful hand stitched crewelwork embroidery work done in a floral and paisley tear drop motif known as the boteh. There is a decorative wool fringed trim border edging the two ends. This beautifully embroidered pashmina style shawl scarf wrap measures 70 inches long and 36 inches wide. It is in good condition, with only a small area of frayed missing fringe on one end (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable paisley textile art! $100 |
