This vintage white cotton lace blue embroidered stitching belted swing day dress dates from the late 1930s. It is made of a white cotton fabric, with blue & white raised stitching soutache embroidery work done in a floral vine leaf design and white lace trim edging the collar and cuffs. This sweet summer swing style day dress has a wide lapel collar, V front neckline, shoulder padding, short sleeves, front button trim with snap closures hidden underneath, a matching fabric belt and pleated short skirt. The dress measures 38 inches long, with 34 inch hips, a 30 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 14 inch back. It is in good condition, with only a small faint age spot stain on the skirt and a small frayed hole under the arm and on the sleeve (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
