This vintage burgundy silk crepe silver sequin beaded drape skirt evening gown dress dates from the 1940s. It is made of a dark red burgundy color silk crepe fabric, with silver sequin beaded spiral scroll work decorative designs on the front top. This elegant evening gown floor length dress has broad shoulder padding, long dolman style sleeves, a long skirt with small side slit, gathered draping wrapped on the side hip and back, a key hole opening back with button closure on the neck and a side zipper closure. The dress is a large size measuring 60 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 30 inch waist, 38 inch bust, 16 inch back and 16 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a small open seam on the sleeve which needs restitching. This is a wonderful piece of wearable art!
