This antique Edwardian era cream silk embroidered bed jacket robe petticoat skirt trousseau dates from 1910. It is made of an off white cream color fine silk fabric, with Asian inspired silk raised padded satin stitch hand embroidery work and French knot accents. There are embroidered vine leaf roses on the top and spider chrysanthemum flowers on the bottom skirt. This beautiful bridal two piece wedding trousseau lingerie includes a loose fitting bed jacket robe, with flared wide bat wing sleeves, ribbon ties under the arms and on front for closure, with scalloped trim edging. The jacket measures 21 inches long, with a 46 inch waist and 46 inch bust. There is a long floor length petticoat skirt with bottom ruffle, scalloped hemline and hook closure on back. The skirt measures 37 inches long, with a 24 inch waist. It is in good condition, but are a slightly different color and flowers embroidered on it. This is truly a wonderful piece of wedding lingerie trousseau textile art!
