This antique Edwardian era brown silk damask floral brocade embroidered lace high collar dress gown dates from 1910. It is made of a dark chocolate brown color silk damask floral pattern brocade fabric, with brown velvet button trim edging and an off white cream color net lace pink embroidered yoke high neck collar insert and cuffs. This beautiful brocade dress has a high collar, cut out neckline, long layered full sleeves, a fitted waist, hook closures down the back and is lined. The dress measures 56 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 23 inch waist, 34 inch bust and 12 inch back. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned, with slight underarm discoloration and some small frays on on the back net collar (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful quality custom made piece of wearable art!
