This exceptional vintage black silk crepe belted peplum skirt bolero jacket bias cut dress evening gown dates from the late 1930s. It is made of a black silk crepe fabric, with black sequin trim on the shoulder straps and peplum skirt accent. This two piece elegant evening gown ensemble includes a long floor length bias cut dress with shoulder strap ties, a plunging V front neckline, backless, with an attached sequined trim belted peplum drape short overskirt and rhinestone buckle clasp closure on front. The dress measures 63 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 28 inch waist and 40 inch bust. There is a matching fabric short cropped bolero style jacket with bat wing short sleeves, scalloped edge cuffs, a wrap front with snaps on the waist for closure and a small slit on one shoulder for sequined shoulder strap on dress to stick through. The jacket measures 16 inches long, with a 36 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 14 inch back. It is in excellent clean condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
