This vintage black silk chiffon chantilly lace sheer long evening gown dress dates from the 1940s. It is made of a a sheer black silk chiffon and black chantilly lace fabric, with a striped fabric panel insert skirt design. The chantilly lace has black shading on the floral leaf pattern design. This lovely lace long floor length evening gown dress has a large fold over front collar with V neckline, short sleeves, a fitted waist, full skirt, side zipper closure and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 57 inches long, with a 28 inch waist and 40 inch bust. It is in good condition, with only a small fray in the silk chiffon front bottom hem skirt (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
