This vintage pink silk gray velvet button trim late teens WWI era tea dress dates from the 1915. It is made of dusty rose pink color sheer silk chiffon fabric and a silvery gray color plush silk velvet fabric. This delightful tea dress has a loose fitting layered style, with an attached velvet blouse top, pink silk ruffle collar, long sleeves with velvet button trim cuffs, belted back with a pleated back skirt drape, a pink silk pleated layered long tea length skirt, with many snap, hook closures and is fully lined. The dress measures 46 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 26 inch waist, 34 inch bust, 14 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned, with some yellowing discoloration on the back top and underarm stains (see close-up). This is truly a beautiful quality made piece of wearable art!
