This vintage beige silk soutache cut work lace drop waist shift dress and slip dates from the 1930s. It is made of a light brown French beige color silk fabric, with a soutache, cut work abstract spiral scrolling pattern design. This beautiful beige drop waist dress has a loose fitting straight shift style, short sleeves, a scalloped ruffle back collar, black silk ribbon bow shoulder trim, a matching fabric sash tie on the hip with side slit skirt and an asymmetrical uneven hemline skirt. The dress measures 48 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 36 inch waist and 36 inch bust. Included is a matching beige color silk fabric chemise slip. The slip measures 47 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 36 inch waist and 34 inch bust. The outfit is in good condition, the only a tiny pin hole on the dress shoulder and a few faint small water spot stains on the bottom back skirt of the dress (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
