This vintage Edwardian era embroidered white net lace scalloped skirt hem graduation wedding dress dates from 1915. It is made of a sheer fine white net, with a unique textured raised padded satin stitch embroidery lace work done in an Arts & Crafts style pattern design. This lovely lace long floor length tea dress has a layered style, with a low cut scoop front neckline, ruffled back collar, short sleeves, a fitted waist, decorative scalloped skirt hem and snap closures along the front side top, waist. It is sheer and lined in net with a camisole style inner top. The dress measures 51 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 24 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in good condition. This is a wonderful piece of antique textile art which could be worn as a wedding gown, or graduation summer tea dress! |
