This vintage navy blue silk chiffon slip dress gown and ecru lace jacket blouse top dates from the 1940s. This beautiful blue evening gown two piece outfit includes a long floor length slip style dress with a navy blue silk sleeveless top, velvet trim straps, plunging V neckline, backless, with a matching color pleated sheer silk chiffon fabric long full skirt, fully lined and has a side zipper closure. There is "An original design Registered by a member of Fashion Originators Guild" label and name "Spaulding" tag sewn inside. The dress measures 58 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 27 inch waist and 36 inch bust. Included is an off white ecru cream color sheer cut work lace jacket blouse, with navy blue silk ribbon trim edging, a bow trim front with hook closures, short sleeves and is sheer, unlined. The jacket measures 20 inches long, with a 28 inch waist and 34 inch bust. The outfit is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful amazing piece of wearable art!
