Vintage White Silk Fleur de Lis Lace Full Slip Dress Bloomers Pettipant Lingerie
This vintage white silk fleur de lis lace full slip dress and bloomers pettipants lingerie date from the 1920s. This lovely lingerie two piece set has matching off white cream color fleur de lis pattern lace trim. There is a loose fitting full slip dress with a drop waist, made of a white silk fabric with lace tatting insert on the drawstring front top, silk ribbon shoulder straps and a full skirt with lace ruffle bottom. The slip measures 45 inches long, with 44 inch hips, a 36 inch waist and 36 inch bust. Included is a pair of long bloomers pettipants made of a fine white cotton batiste fabric, with lace trim around the full leg cuffs and mother of pearl buttons on the back for closure. The pants measure 26 inches long, with 38 inch hips and a 28 inch waist. Neither has been cleaned and there is some yellowing age spots on the lace. The bloomers are in good condition and the slip is as-is with frayed ribbon shoulder straps and a long frayed rip on the back skirt (see close-up). This is a wonderful piece of wearable antique lace textile art!
