Vintage 1920s Woven Cream Silk Brass Studded Drop Waist Jumper Dress & Blouse
This vintage woven cream silk brass studded drop waist jumper dress and blouse dates from the 1920s. It is made of an off white cream color unique woven heavy silk textured fabric, with coral and black silk ribbon, brass studded trim down the front and around the sleeve cuffs. This delightful day dress has a loose fitting drop waist jumper style, with a plunging open front, long sleeves and gathering around the waist with a full shirt. The dress measures 40 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 21 inch long sleeves. There is a matching sleeveless shell tank top style shirt blouse dickey with fine silk backing to be worn underneath the dress. The two piece outfit is in good to fair condition, has not been cleaned and has some small faint age spot stains, slight discoloration and the blouse backing has several frayed holes which is covered over and hidden by the dress (see close-up). Great for Design!! This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable art!
