There is a black hand knotted silk fringe which measures 18 inches long surrounding the entire shawl. The shawls fabric square measures 52 by 52 inches. It is in good condition, with only a small fray of loose fringe along the side edging (see close-up). This beautiful bohemian piano shawl is a wonderful piece of wearable textile art!
