This vintage black silk crepe sequin beaded peplum skirt cocktail dress dates from the 1940s. It is made of a black silk crepe fabric, with a black sequin beaded trim asymmetrical peplum skirt. This beautiful black cocktail dress has a side front black jet glass button neckline, broad shoulder padding, long sleeves with button cuffs, an asymmetrical peplum tiered skirt side zipper closure and is unlined. The dress measures 52 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a few small open seams on the skirt which need restitching and the back hem on the peplum skirt is out. This is a wonderful piece of wearable art!
