This vintage Lauhala Hawaiian cranes print rayon pake muumuu dress dates from the 1940s. It is made of a rayon fabric with a black background and a Hawaiian print with white ginger flowers and colorful crane birds in flight. This retro Hawaiian pake muumuu style long floor length loose fitting dress has wide flared bat wing kimono sleeves, open peek a boo shoulders, slight shoulder padding, a mandarin collar with white silk toggle closures at the neck, side slits on the skirt and side zipper closure. There is a "Lauhala Made in Hawaii" label, size 14 tag sewn inside. The dress measures 55 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 28 inch waist, 38 inch bust, 15 inch back and 28 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a few tiny faint age spot stains on the white trim skirt side slits (see close-up). This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of collectable Hawaiiana vintage textile art!
