This vintage mint green cotton organdy belted dress and chemise teddy slip dates from the 1930s. It is made of a pastel mint green color sheer cotton organdy fabric, with white pleated trim over the shoulders and lace trim sleeve cuffs. This pretty party dress has short cap sleeves, a mid length full skirt with ruffle bottom, matching fabric sash tie belt and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 49 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 34 inch waist and 36 inch bust. Included is an off white cream color windowpane striped cotton chemise teddy style slip lingerie, with a green ruffle trim drawstring neckline, shoulder straps and cotton crotch. The chemise teddy measures 28 inches long, with 44 inch hips, waist, bust and has a size 42 tag inside. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned, with some discoloration age spot staining on both pieces and underarm stains on the dress (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
