This exquisite vintage embellished colorful blue floral print velvet drop waist flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a colorful, with shades of blue abstract floral print silk velvet fabric. There are embellished trimmings, with an embroidered front neckline modesty insert panel, beaded chenille applique on the side hip and blue silk velvet cascading flower trim hanging down the front shoulder. This fabulous flapper dress has a loose fitting drop waist, with a front wrap style, long sleeves which are sheer midway down with fitted velvet trim cuffs and snap closures at the waist. The dress measures 42 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 42 inch waist, 42 inch bust and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with a few faint age spot stains on the sheer chiffon sleeves, 3 tiny holes on the back top and some missing loose beads on the applique trim (see close-ups). This is truly a rare and exceptional quality made piece of Art Deco wearable art!
