It is made of a brown silk crepe de chine fabric, with gold lamé metallic thread embroidery work done in Art Deco abstract geometric ethnic designs.

This vintage Art Deco brown silk, gold metallic embroidered ethnic flapper blouse dates from the 1920s. It is made of a brown silk crepe de chine fabric, with gold lamé metallic thread embroidery work done in Art Deco abstract geometric ethnic designs. This beautiful blouse has a long loose fitting style, with a silk covered button down front closure, fold over collar, long sleeves and a decorative trim waistband. The top measures 22 inches long, with a 40 inch waist, 42 inch bust, 14 inch back and 20 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, but is missing a couple of buttons, has not been cleaned and has a small discoloration stain on the sleeve under the arm (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Art Deco textile art!
