It is made of a navy blue sheer silk chiffon fabric, with a black beaded, white silk embroidered abstract polka dot pattern Art Deco design.

This amazing Art Deco vintage navy blue sheer silk chiffon beaded polka dot flapper dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a navy blue sheer silk chiffon fabric, with a black beaded, white silk embroidered abstract polka dot pattern Art Deco design. This fabulous flapper dress has a peasant style, is loose fitting, with an adjustable drawstring rounded scoop neckline, 3/4 length full sleeves and is sheer, unlined. The dress is a large size measuring 47 inches long, with 52 inch hips, a 48 inch waist, 46 inch bust, 20 inch back and 12 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a few loose missing beads and has a small frayed open seam on the back waist (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable beaded textile art!
