This antique Victorian era broderie anglaise eyelet embroidered whitework linen nightgown dress dates from the late 19th century. It is hand stitched, made of a white fine quality linen fabric with broderie anglaise embroidery eyelet cutwork, whitework, needlework, yoke collar and cuffs. This beautiful nightgown is loose fitting, a long floor length, with a high neck collar, long sleeves and small carved mother of pearl buttons all the way down the front for closure. The nightgown is a large size measuring 56 inches long, with 55 inch hips, a 55 inch waist, 50 inch bust, 20 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a tiny hole on the bottom hem of the front skirt. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Victoriana antique whitework!
