This vintage ecru embroidered net lace silk rosette chemise shift slip dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of an ecru beige cream color sheer net fabric with raised padded satin stitch embroidery work done in a floral vine leaf pattern. There is a pastel silk ribbon rosette flower trim on the shoulder. This lovely lace chemise shift style slip dress is loose fitting, sleeveless, with sheer silk chiffon inserts on the back neck, along the bottom lace trim flared handkerchief hemline skirt and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 44 inches long, with 38 inch hips, a 38 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in good condition, with only a few tiny frays on the silk rosette trim (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful beautiful piece of wearable lace art!
