This vintage white net gold lamé embroidered pannier peplum skirt dress dates from the 1940s. It is made of an off white ivory cream color sheer net fabric, with white and gold metallic lamé thread woven through, embroidered and outlining the floral leaf pattern design. This gorgeous gown has a fitted bodice top with stays, boning sewn inside, a sweetheart neckline, shoulder straps, a full skirt with peplum waist, pannier panel hoops lined inside for added fullness at the hips, a back zipper closure and is fully lined. The dress measures 52 inches long, with a 24 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in good condition, but has not been cleaned and has faint underarm stain discoloration. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable textile art! |
