Vintage Edwardian White Net Princess Tape Lace Applique Embroidered Blouse This vintage Edwardian era white net princess tape lace appliqué embroidered blouse dates from 1915.

This vintage Edwardian era white net princess tape lace appliqué embroidered blouse dates from 1915. It is made of a white sheer fine net princess lace fabric, with tambour chain stitch embroidery, tape lace appliqué work done in a floral vine leaf, scalloped, polka dot design done primarily on the shirt back and sleeves. This lovely lace middy style blouse has a V front neckline, with snap closures down the front, long sleeves, a batiste lawn fabric skirted bottom and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 16 inches long, with a 28 inch waist, 38 inch bust, 16 inch back and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a few small frays breaks in the lace appliqué work on the back (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable lace art!
