1920s Vintage Peach Net Battenburg Lace Drop Waist Dress Silk Slip Jacket Outfit
This exceptional vintage peach net Battenburg lace drop waist dress, silk slip and jacket three piece outfit dates from the 1920s. It is made of a light yellowish pink peachy cream color sheer silky net lace fabric with Battenburg tape lace floral leaf pattern designs and connecting brides and bars. This lovely lace dress is loose fitting, with a drop waist, sleeveless. with low scoop necklines, a slight high low handkerchief style skirt hem and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 56 inches long, with 40 inch hips, a 30 inch waist and 32 inch bust. There is a matching net lace fabric jacket, with a loose fitting long mid length style, open front, no closure, long sleeves with wide flared open slit cuffs and is sheer, unlined. The jacket measures 23 inches long, with a 36 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 14 inch back and 23 inch long sleeves. Included is a matching peach color silk slip for wearing underneath. The slip measures 48 inches long, with 42 inch hips, a 36 inch waist and 38 inch bust. It is in excellent clean condition. This is truly an exquisite piece of wearable lace art!
