This vintage WWII Japan souvenir tour jacket child's shirt satin embroidered map dates from the 1940s. It is made of a red and silvery gray color satin fabric, with colorful embroidered dragons on the front and a map of Japan, Mount Fuji on the back. This child's size small souvenir tour jacket has a shirt style, with a fold over collar, 2 front breast pockets with the name "J. Mitchell" embroidered above it, long sleeves with button cuffs, a fitted waistband with button closures down the front and is unlined. The jacket measures 12 inches long, with a 21 inch waist, 22 inch chest, 11 inch back shoulders and 11 1/2 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only some faint staining on the sleeves, waistband and is missing one button closure on the breast pocket. This is truly a rare and wonderful piece of WWII wearable art!
