This antique Edwardian Titanic era blue silk dolman sleeve short crop coat bolero jacket dates from 1912. It is made of a dark blue silk fabric, with a white silk, colorful chain stitch embroidered, net ruffle trim collar. This beautiful blue short crop coat bolero jacket has long flared batwing dolman style sleeves with button trim, a bow trim back drape, decorative fold over collar, toggle button front closure and is silk lined with weights sewn on the bottom back hem. There is a "Marshall Field & Co. Chicago" store label sewn inside. The jacket measures 15 inches long in the front, 22 inches long in the back, with a 32 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in good condition, with some fraying splits on the inside silk lining. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable Titanic era art!
