This antique Edwardian era white battenburg tape lace embroidered appliqué blouse shirt top dates from 1910. It is made of a sheer white battenburg tape lace with connecting brides and bars, a daisy flower lace trim yoke collar and cuffs and white batiste raised padded satin stitch embroidered floral appliqué inserts. This beautiful blouse has a high neck lace collar, with steel cut buckles, cream silk bow trim on the front, 3/4 length sleeves, hook closures down the back and is sheer completly unlined. The top measures 18 inches long, with a 34 inch waist, 36 inch bust, 14 inch back and 15 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique textile lace wearable art!
