This antique Edwardian era cream silk ruched pearl beaded lace trim wedding gown train skirt dress dates from 1910. It is made of a cream silk fabric, with ruched tucks gathering on the sleeves, neckline, waist and drawn cut work, pearl beading, lace cobweb rosette appliqué trim accents on the skirt. This beautiful bridal wedding gown dress has a renaissance medieval style, with a very long back train skirt, exaggerated long tapered sleeves, an empire waist, low rounded scoop neckline, hook closures on the back and a white cotton lace ruffle petticoat underskirt with slight back train has been sewn inside lining the skirt. The dress measures 58 inches long in the front, 88 inches long in the back, with a 26 inch waist and 34 inch bust. It is in good as-is condition, with a few frayed holes on the sleeve, front skirt and the inside top silk lining is shattered. This would be great for display, design, study, pattern or restoration. This is truly a wonderful piece of wedding wearable art! |
