It is made of a white Point de Venise needle lace with scrolling flowers, leaves, detailed meshwork buttonholed brides and floral lace appliques on the front. This beautiful blouse has a high neck lace collar, long tapered sleeves, snap closures down the back and is sheer, unlined. The top measures 23 inches long, with a 38 inch waist, 38 inch bust, 14 inch back and 22 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, has several small breaks and holes in the mesh (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique textile lace wearable art!
