This amazing Art Deco vintage black silk soutache embroidered drop waist dress dates from the 1920s. It is made of a sheer black silk chiffon fabric, with raised black silk soutache embroidery work done in a floral leaf design. This fabulous flapper style drop waist dress is loose fitting, with long sleeves, fitted cuffs, a fold over collar, V front neckline, slight shoulder smocking, padding, a short full skirt and is sheer, unlined. The dress measures 43 inches long, with 36 inch hips, a 34 inch waist, 36 inch bust and 24 inch long sleeves. It is in good condition, with only a tiny pin hole on the back top (see close-up). This is truly a wonderful piece of Art Deco wearable textile art!
