This vintage black and white cotton belted bathing suit swimsuit dress and bloomers dates from the 1920s. It is made of a black cotton fabric, with white stripe trim edging. This fabulous flapper ladies bathing suit costume one piece swimsuit has a sleeveless style short tunic dress overlay with mother of pearl button closures on the shoulders, an attached belted tie sash with button front closure and short bloomer pantaloons pants sewn underneath, with gathered leg cuffs. The swimsuit measures 37 inches long, with 48 inch hips, a 42 inch waist and 42 inch bust. It is in good condition, with only some minor wear and a small faint stain on the white trim belt. This antique authentic "bathing beauty" costume is truly a rare and wonderful piece of wearable art!
