It is made of an antique late 19th century brown linen fabric, with orange and cream color silk embroidery work done in an abstract ethnic inspired triangle design. The textile fabric is from the Swat Valley, Pakistan and has been manipulated with many tucks gathering throughout and then created into a coat. This unique ethnic art coat jacket is loose fitting, mid length, with a full boxy style, broad shoulders, long full sleeves, orange chenille trim edging, a amber color button hook clasp closure on the front and is fully lined. The coat measures 25 inches long, with a 36 inch waist, 40 inch bust and 17 inch long sleeves. It is in excellent condition. This is truly an exceptional custom made piece of wearable textile art!
