It is made of a blue and white gingham check cotton fabric, with white silk rope loop trim edging, mother of pearl button trim accents and an embroidered white batiste lace yoke insert. This delightful day dress is tea length, two piece, with a layered pinafore style. The dress has a slight drop waist, with snap closures along the front side, short sleeves with rolled cuffs and is unlined. There is a matching fabric pinafore, sleeveless overcoat, with fold over lapel collar and a belted front tie sash closure. The dress measures 48 inches long, with 50 inch hips, a 32 inch waist and 36 inch bust. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a wonderful piece of wearable art!
